Matt Foster started his show business career as a professional touring drummer before discovering his calling as a stand up comedian. Rocketing onto the comedy scene in 2015, Matt quickly went from new face to professional touring headliner, performing in comedy clubs all across Canada. In 2016 he was signed to Canada’s largest comedy club chain, Yuk Yuk’s. The following year he beat out 49 other comedians to come 2nd place in the 17th annual Funnyfest Comedy Competition. Recently, he appeared at the Comedy Here Often? Presents: The Pretty Good Comedy Festival in Victoria, BC.
Blending disarming likability with a fierce comic mind, Matt conjures eruptions of laughter seemingly from out of nowhere, delivering shows that leave entire rooms gasping for air.
